HOW DID THEY GROW FROM $0 TO $30 MILLION IN FOUR YEARS? COME AND FIND OUT!

Join us for an enlightening and educational morning of learning, listening and engaging with your peers in family businesses - sharing the commonalities that you face every day. The morning will include breakfast and a presentation by our Keynote Speakers, Ross Kramer, co-founder and CEO of Listrak along with his father, Howard Kramer, co-founder and COO. Their dynamic story began in 1996, in Ross's dorm room at Penn State University when he launched Vertex Internet, a web hosting company. What began with local businesses quickly grew as companies like Movies Unlimited trusted Ross to not only host their websites, but to add e-commerce features as well.

In 1999, Ross and his father, Howard, founded Listrak, a new venture offering email marketing capabilities. They grew the business from $0 to $30 million in annual sales. They will also share the secrets to their success, give the audience an inside look into the company and will offer actionable insights and tactics that business owners can take away and implement immediately. Topics will include: building a sales foundation of leadership; how they tripled their size in four years with sales techniques any company can employ; and their approach to making sure you hire the absolute best talent possible.
The Kramer's have a wonderful story about working together as a son/father team and will share many insights and lessons learned in this unique partnership. Don't miss out - REGISTER HERE!

    GET IN THE CONVERSATION...

With facilitated Peer to Peer Exchange Groups! Family business owners face extraordinary challenges unique to running a family business. This is a great way to gather with your peers, share common problems and experiences, and to learn how to deal with your unique situations. Are you looking for a forum to discuss issues you are facing in your family business? Are you looking for peer advice? What about knowing others who understand your unique situations?

We allow only one participant per group from each industry segment in order to avoid competitive concerns. The groups are facilitated by Pat Langiotti, Owner of Creative Management Concepts and Chet Mosteller, President of Mosteller & Associates. Pat and Chet are industry experts with many years of experience assisting family-owned businesses.

To promote camaraderie and trust, enrollment is for a designated individual (not meant for a company to send different people at different times). Enrollment in a Facilitated Peer Exchange Group is limited to Chamber members. Peer Groups are meeting a minimum of 8-10 times per year and the annual participation fee is $400.

JUST IN CASE YOU MISSED OUR 'EDUCATING THE FAMILY' WORKSHOP WITH DAVE WIMER!

JUST IN CASE YOU MISSED OUR 'EDUCATING THE FAMILY' WORKSHOP WITH DAVE WIMER!

This 2-hour session was facilitated by Dave Wimer, Family Business Advisor who has enjoyed 35+ years following a varied career path in business. He has owned and operated five businesses in different sectors: B2B direct sales, technology, logistics, manufacturing, and franchises.

The group discussed roles and boundaries and their effect on individual and organizational performance. Dave presented the characteristics of each sphere of influence on its members. Attendees were encouraged to share general experiences and to work through brief exercises in role clarification and boundaries of authority. Attendees left with a working understanding of why family business members grab the wheel, how to confront the underlying reasons, and the importance of defining roles to prevent unnecessary conflicts.

Join us for the next Workshop on June 10th -'Respect the Elephant: Dealing with Undiscussables in Family Business.'
Also facilitated by Dave, this 2-hour session will be a group discussion on outlining 'undiscussables' and their impacts on the family and the enterprise. It includes a presentation on the power of acknowledgement and includes identifying approaches and resources that provide the value of respectful confrontation. Attendees will be asked to share general experiences and identify potential approaches to confront and diffuse the power of an elephant in the room.

    DATE: Wednesday, June 10th
    TIME: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
