    Event Description:
Family business has a unique tenet to keep it healthy, which its members must understand and agree to live by: “we are a Business Family First, Always.”  Without the discipline of business management and accountability, any enterprise gradually and quietly over time sets itself up for a downward spiral.

Symptoms like malaise, apathy, lack of productivity, stymied creativity and in severe cases, depression and hopelessness can be observed.  As non-family business employees observe this lack of accountability for family members, they get the message that dual standards exist and lose respect.  Family business leadership is about having the courage to hold one another accountable regardless of bloodline.

This session is facilitated by David Wimer, Business Advisor and  Principal of David Wimer & Associates.  David works with family  enterprises to help navigate through change: succession, acquisition, sale or crisis. Join us for this highly interactive session and discover practical ways to maintain a healthy and accountable family business.
