Congratulations to Joseph Lehman of Douglassville, who was the Berks County winner in the Commuter Services of Pennsylvania's recent Earth Day contest. He logged 160 miles by carpooling to his job at Carpenter Technologies.

Federal Transportation Bill Passed
After months of negotiations and jockeying for political position, Congress gave final approval to massive job-creating U.S. transportation bill. Click here for more details about the bill. The deal basically keeps transportation funding at current levels. The package also prevents federal student loan interest rates from doubling and maintains federal flood insurance. |
