The glass ceiling, thankfully, is shattered every day by smart and talented women who rise to the top of their professions.  A generation after the women’s movement paved the way for these increasing common breakthroughs; it’s still a good thing to listen to the lessons learned by local
and regional women who are among the most successful in their fields.  This series, now its 12th year, is one of the most successful and best attended programs presented by the Chamber.

Professional Women's Network

The Chamber’s Professional Women’s Network is a three-part series of networking and educational events for female professionals at all levels of business. The series kicks off with a symposium and cocktail reception building awareness and enlightenment on a topic of concern to women. Each April, the Chamber hosts a full day conference with nationally-recognized keynotes who have achieved high levels of success. This forum addresses issues that impact the development of their professional and personal lives through general sessions and workshops. Includes ATHENA award presentation. The series concludes with a SeafoodFest at which female professionals network and dine on lobster and steak at the Fish Pond in early summer.
